ALMOND TREE POLLINATOR

The Position

Orchard Tech is looking for a reliable and passionate professional who possesses the skills to successfully fulfil the responsibilities of an almond tree pollinator on various farms.

Job Responsibilities

Some of the tasks are (but not restricted to):

1. Pollinating almond trees
2. Transferring the pollen tassel of the plant to silks on the ear
3. Weeding
4. Watering
5. Transplanting
6. Moving Dirt
7. Other farm-related activities

Physical Demands

1. Ability to reach and handle almond trees
2. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
3. Ability to work in all weather conditions
4. Must have transportation to and from the facility

Experience:

No particular experience required

After successful completion of the interview, the candidate will be offered employment on the basis of the Horticulture Award rates.
