If Orchard Tech provides or arranges your accommodation, the company safety manual applies to it. On arrival, you should be shown how to leave in a fire, where to meet outside, what address to give emergency services, and who to contact about a property problem.
- Keep the exit route clear and report a smoke alarm that does not work.
- Report unsafe electrical fittings, a door that will not lock, faulty plumbing or other safety problems promptly.
- Ask for help if the building is too crowded, cannot be kept reasonably cool or lacks working essential facilities.
- Call 000 in an emergency and follow the instructions explained for the property.
