Read or download the English guide PDF
Read or download the English–Tongan companion PDF

The English–Tongan companion pairs each instruction with English. The guide keeps button names in English. Choose English in the app to match those names on screen; some controls change with your selected language. Download either PDF and save a copy on your phone for later reading.

Translation disclaimer: The English–Tongan companion was prepared from the English guide using computer-assisted translation. This version has not been reviewed by a native Tongan speaker and may contain errors. If anything is unclear, contact Orchard Tech through Contact in the app or your Orchard Tech representative for an explanation before following the instructions.

Scan a download QR code

Scan the code for your phone, or use the download buttons above. Both store links and QR codes stay the same for future app updates.

Download or update the app

iPhone or iPad: open the App Store link. Tap Get to install, Update if available, or Open to launch the installed app. Upload is available in version 1.1.

Android: open the Google Play link. Tap Install to install, Update if available, or Open to launch the installed app.

Android Upload update: Upload steps require version 1.1. On Android, the Upload tab appears when that update becomes available in Google Play. You can use the current Android app for personal workday logs and resources.

You do not need an Orchard Tech account or password. The App Store may ask for your Apple Account; Google Play may ask for your Google account.

Choose English, Lea faka-Tonga or Bahasa Melayu at the top of the app. Some functions and resources remain in English.

Find and read resources

  1. While online, tap Documents in the bottom navigation, or Prepare for work on the home screen.
  2. Choose an available section: Resources, Policies, Manuals or Host information.
  3. Search for the document title or topic. Search covers the selected section and language. Clear the search and try another section or language if needed.
  4. Tap Open to read the online PDF or webpage. Opening it alone does not save a copy in the app.

Save documents for offline reading

  1. While online, find an eligible document in Documents and tap Save offline.
  2. Wait for Saved for offline use.
  3. Tap Saved, find the document and tap Open saved copy. You can read this copy without internet.

On iPhone or iPad, tap Done to return. Android opens the installed document viewer; use the Back button or gesture to return to Orchard Tech.

Website links and resources without a Save offline button still need internet. Copies in the app Saved list are separate from the phone file manager. If a saved copy is marked outdated or archived, check the current document online or ask your supervisor. See the PDF guide for replacing a saved copy.

Browse the PALM worker resources and videos. The website library needs internet and is not saved as one offline bundle.

Record your workday

Tap My Workday → Log a workday. Enter the date, start time, finish time and unpaid break in minutes. Check Hours worked, then tap Save workday. A note is optional. For an overnight shift, use the starting date and the next morning’s finish time. Find entries under Your history. Tap Edit, change the details, then Save changes.

The log works offline and stays on this device. It is never sent to payroll or your employer. Keep using your usual timesheet process.

Send files or contact Orchard Tech

Upload availability: the steps below require version 1.1 with the Upload tab visible. On Android, follow them only when that update is available in Google Play and installed.

Induction and training records

  1. Use your phone camera to take clear photos of every page of your completed induction and training documents.
  2. Open Upload. Enter your name and Orchard Tech worker ID, choose Training or induction records and add a document title. Then select the photos from your phone or choose a PDF.
  3. Check that all pages are readable and complete before sending.

Uploading your completed induction and training records through the app will become compulsory so Orchard Tech can keep a record of your induction and training.

Use Upload for requested records about yourself or a hazard photo. Enter your name and worker ID, choose the category, add a title and check every page. Read the privacy information, complete the confirmations, then tap Review upload → Send files. Keep the screen open.

Training and other documents accept JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 10 page images and 8 MB combined. Each PDF page is sent as an image. Hazard photo accepts one JPG or PNG image. Do not include another worker’s documents or identifiable people in hazard photos.

Files are addressed to workerforms@orchardtech.com.au and are not published in the resource library. Keep your Request ID and Handoff reference. Accepted for email handoff does not confirm inbox delivery or staff review. If the app says Send outcome unknown, contact Orchard Tech with the Request ID before starting another upload.

Use Contact for routine, non-sensitive questions. Keep passport, visa, bank, tax and medical details out of Contact. Upload and Contact need internet; reconnecting does not automatically send a draft.

Get help

Ask your supervisor if you need help using the app or finding a document. Emergency contact information is provided separately on the workplace emergency poster. Contact and Upload are for routine communication.
